Vehicle Crime Series Update

Dear Dover Resident, 

Kent Police remains committed to tackling vehicle crime across the Dover district. Through the ongoing work of Dover's Neighbourhood Policing Team, Victim Based Crime Team and Response Policing officers, 36 charges have now been secured against five individuals in connection with vehicle theft offences and other driving related offences linked to the use of stolen vehicles in recent months.

The charges reflect a coordinated effort to identify, investigate and bring before the courts those suspected of being involved in vehicle crime, helping to protect communities and reduce offending across the district.

While 36 charges have already been secured, a number of investigations remain active and further files are being prepared for court. As a result, officers expect additional charges to be authorised as enquiries progress. Kent Police remains committed to pursuing those involved in vehicle crime and bringing offenders to justice.
